Did you know that Jesus Christ died on the Cross so that you and I might have eternal life? The Bible declares that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, then we would be saved.

​“v9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. v10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. v11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Romans 10:9 – 11, KJV).

Salvation is a process between you and God. It is not just about repeating these verses. Read the entire chapter of Romans 10. The previous verses speaks of having a zeal for God and righteousness. The later verses says how can you hear without a preacher and the preacher must be sent. John 3:3 speaks of being a born again believer, not a Christian.

This is why it is important for you to join a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church. It is the Word of God that will keep you steadfast and unmoveable in your walk with Him. God’s Word says that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
